 | Monday, May 28th, 2029: Gotham City's Macias Cruises to NY Player of Week Win Adrian Macias made quite a splash in the NY Metro League this past week. The Gotham City Knights second baseman drilled opposing pitchers for 12 hits--7 for extra bases--in 28 at-bats and rolled up a 1.290 OPS figure. Those strong numbers made him the logical candidate for NY Player of the Week honors. A review of his stats this season reveals he has played in 54 games, gone to the plate 211 times, and drilled 61 hits to fashion a .289 batting average. To his club's attack Macias has contributed 14 doubles, 1 triple, and 10 home runs. He also smacked in 31 runs, scored 35, picked up 14 walks, and stole 6 bases. |
