That was the SL2 Outstanding Hitter Award winner this year. Claudio Macias of the Tulsa Express had his swing down pat all season long. He whacked 166 hits in 475 at-bats for a .349 batting average, brought home in 60 runs, and scored 75 runs. Scottsdale Jackrabbits' second baseman stung opposing pitchers for a .305 BA, 124 hits in 482 plate appearances with 47 extra-base hits.
