The Santa Ana right fielder was a bonifide batting machine. He racked up 110 hits in 396 at-bats, 52 extra-base hits with 28 round-trippers, 23 doubles, and a .278 batting average. Not the case for third baseman Alberto Delapaz, who nailed down the Outstanding Hitter Award after putting up a .297 average, rifling 117 hits, and launching 12 into orbit. The slugger for the Chesapeake Rodents also totaled 183 total bases and touched home 63 times over the course of 2029. |  | Tuesday, August 28th, 2029: Santa Ana's Finesse Pitcher Salters Fashions Way to 17 Wins and Sub League 2 Outstanding Pitcher Award The guy with the golden arm got the gold this year in the Sub League 2. Kent Salters of the Santa Ana Coyotes was named the Outstanding Pitcher Award winner. This outstanding hurler crafted a fine won-lost record with 17 victories and only 4 defeats, threw 203.1 innings, gave up 142 base hits, walked just 58 batters, and gunned down 52 batters on strikes. Salters held the opposition to a low .195 batting average with a real solid 1.99 ERA. | |
