The 2029 Outstanding Pitcher Award in the Sub League 1 went to Harold Chestnut for a superlative season on the hill. Super stats got the Spokane ace the trophy. Here is what Chestnut accomplished: 20-14 won-lost mark, 44 games started with 307 innings pitched and only 284 hits, 257 strikeouts, 60 bases on balls and an excellent 2.84 ERA. He limited other teams to a .241 batting average.

 | Wednesday, July 25th, 2029: Adorno Totally Dominates Dingoes in Shutout Win
In an impressive mound performance, Ramon Adorno of the Richmond Mutineers checked the Spokane Dingoes on a 3-hitter and held them scoreless. "He was getting ahead of us and keeping the ball off the plate," according to the Spokane manager. "Adorno kept us confused the whole game." The Richmond hurler rang up 8 strikeouts and issued 2 walks in his shutout victory.
Over the season Ramon Adorno has compiled a 11-8 mark, 3.34 ERA, made 23 starting appearances, fanned 106 batters, issued 62 bases on balls, tossed 172.2 innings and held the opposition to a .229 batting average.

Brian Peņalver put on a hitting clinic today. The Henderson third baseman sprayed hits all over the ballpark by lashing Spokane pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats.
B. Peņalver singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 8th.
The 22-year-old newcomer currently is hitting .287 with 7 home runs and 62 RBI to his credit. Brian Peņalver has gotten on base at a .374 clip, nabbed 7 stolen bases, walked 51 times and scored 71 runs.
