Felipe Reyes burst onto the Sub League 1 stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie right fielder for the Richmond Mutineers made everyone who follows baseball respect his game by posting a .522 batting average, a .607 on base percentage, and 17 total bases to grab the SL1 Player of the Week award.
Reyes hasn't got it all figured out yet; he is still a developing prospect. Even so, he is putting up adequate numbers for a 25-year-old. Reyes is hitting at a respectable .316 pace this year with 13 home runs and 72 RBI. He has rapped 42 doubles and posted an OBP of .368 while playing in 118 games.
