The Artillery ran into a buzzsaw as Leo Campos cut them down to size with a 5-hit shutout. His skipper added, "He knows exactly what he's doing. In the complete game whitewash the Laredo hurler doled out 2 free passes and struck out 4. In the postgame press conference, his catcher said, "Leo goes out there and just goes about his business. I don't think he gets too concerned about what's going on. You can call any pitch and you know where he's going to be."
Campos also got some praise from the Royersford manager. "He really kept us in check with that heavy sinker. It has some run on it . . . as well as some down to it. We took some pathetic swings."
In his first shot in the bigs, Campos has logged a 10-2 season. He has started 13 games and given up 1.93 in 102.2 innings.
