 | Friday, June 1st, 2029: Left Fielder Roman Robledo of the Bushwood Gophers Dominates CL and Takes Batter of the Month Award Roman Robledo was declared the Continental League Batter of the Month today. In May Bushwood's left fielder stroked 40 hits in 107 at bats for a .374 average. His 36 RBI, 26 runs, 8 doubles, and 12 homers also helped his cause. This season Robledo is hitting the ball at a .367 clip. He has rung up 80 hits with 16 doubles and 17 home runs. He has also walked 26 times, struck out 25 times, and put up a .434 on base percentage. |
