 | Monday, October 1st, 2029: Great Week at the Plate Nets Valencia of Satellite Player of the Week Trophy Pitchers who faced the Satellite Radios last week were happy to see Axel Valencia in the rear view mirror. The 25-year-old center fielder was dubbed the NY Metro League Player of the Week for a 5-game tear that produced a .652 on base percentage and a .938 slugging percentage. Those numbers came, in part, from 6 bases on balls and 3 extra-base hits, to go along with 6 RBI and 4 runs scored. Thus far in this current campaign Valencia has put up a .290 average with a .370 OBP.
