His lightning swing and solid bat took the NY Metro League by storm this season. Rookie sensation, Omar Garza of the Radios shocked opponents with an electrifying performance to capture the ROY. The talented center fielder sparked his team by hitting .293, driving in 90 runs and scoring 80 times. Garza played in 141 games and also chipped in 15 home runs among his 44 extra-base hits.
