| Breaking News |  | Wednesday, August 29th, 2029: It's Official: Catcher Claudio Macias Is Named the 2029 SL2 Outstanding Hitter Award Winner
In the zone and in the groove. That was the SL2 Outstanding Hitter Award winner this year. Claudio Macias of the Tulsa Express had his swing down pat all season long. He whacked 166 hits in 475 at-bats for a .349 batting average, brought home in 60 runs, and scored 75 runs. Macias also cracked 1 home run among his 44 extra-base hits, had 37 doubles and 46 walks, and compiled a .408 on base percentage.

The 2029 Sub League 2 Outstanding Pitcher Award has gone to Tulsa Express ace Don Ramos after recording a 21-4 season and a 1.75 ERA. Ramos held opposing hitters to a .176 batting average and gave up 4 home runs in 211 innings pitched.

| Monday, August 6th, 2029: Tulsa's Ramos Bedazzles Batters, Brings Home SL2 Player of Week Trophy
Don Ramos dominated opposing batters this past week, registering 2 wins and an ERA of 0.00. The Tulsa Express hurler also set down 16 hitters on strikes on his way to Sub League 2 Player of the Week honors.
This year the 24-year-old Ramos has gone 21-4 with an ERA of 1.82, posting 167 strikeouts in 203 innings pitched.
